accepting fate

Poem:
You will never understand,
the darkness in everyday,
making its way,
that always makes demands.
trying to take my light,
to leave me to the night,
in a command,
I summon energy to my hands.
I fight for my life with all my might,
but it keeps getting stronger,
feeding off my fear,
I can't keep this up for any longer,
I can't get outta here,
It cackles with a sicking laugh,
I'm drowning to my death,
Its dragging me deeper,
at that moment I see my life flash,
my eye lids begin to drop but not from sleep,
nothing can save me now its too late,
I closed my eyes accepting fate.
so how is that for a poem and picture? should I continue the little story of Midnights fate?

Character and design is totally mine.
Midnight is my cat OC.
